Overview

Designed by I. M. Pei and dedicated in 1979 on Columbia Point overlooking Boston Harbor, the Kennedy Library combines a stark concrete pavilion with a luminous glass atrium. It preserves the papers of the Kennedy administration and the Ernest Hemingway collection, including manuscripts and letters kept in a dedicated vault.
