Overview
Established in 1945 in Seoul and rebuilt after the Korean War, the National Library of Korea holds over 13 million volumes. Legal deposit gathers every Korean publication, and the 2009 digital library wing offers specialized rooms for electronic resources. A second main campus opened in Sejong City in 2013 to serve the new administrative capital.
